The Arabian ostrich was a flightless bird distinguished by small whitish wings and sturdy legs. Males were adorned with black feathers over their bodies, excluding the head, neck, and legs. Females featured a less vibrant black plumage, and their head, neck, and leg skin displayed a pale greyish tint. Inhabiting Arabia for millennia, arabian ostriches faced extensive hunting from the late 1800s for meat, feathers, and fashionable skin. They were declared extinct in the mid-1900s.
