His Highness The Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who served as the ruler of Qatar from 1995-2013, was presented with the Order of the Grand Star of Djibouti. This medal has a star shape with silver arms. The circular center is also made of silver and features a blue border. It is engraved with the words "REPUBLIQUE DE DJIBOUTI" and the date 27-6-1977. The center of the medal bears the lettering "UEP."
