This order was instituted by Reza Shah of Persia in the year 1925. The medal is hexagon shaped with four crowns placed in a cross-like manner. The centre is circular and bears the image of a snow-covered hill at sunrise against a blue sky. The top of the border has the wording ‘Pahlavi’ in Arabic and the bottom has the date 1302 Hijri. The medal is attached to a chain, made of silver infinity loops with a blue circle in the middle.
